General Secretary, Mrs Han, presents Mr Shen-Feng Lin from the China Times |
The stage |
Willi Huber, accompanied by the Chinese Culture University Orchestra Taipei, and ... |
...the Hong-Dao High School Band Taipei |
...found great favour with the audience. |
At many stalls typical German products could be purchased... |
...such as ginger bread hearts... |
...or candy... |
...and everything was decorated with branches and ornaments.
The most interesting of all stalls probably was that of SwanPanasia, where visitors could not only buy board games but try them out right away as well. |
Even Santa Claus came... |
..and cared about Old and Young... |
...also bringing along with him the 'Christkind' |
And although there was no snow at the time the snowman did not miss out on stopping by either. |
The center of all attention was, of course - as it is the case everywhere in Germany, the Christmas tree, which was neither green nor had branches but was assembled and decorated in a lovely way by ourselves and our visitors. |
And last but not least, for the joy of the children, it really began to snow in the evening (even if only soap bubbles).
