In the context of our German Cultural Month the following events will take place in the month of January 2006:

    01.01.2006:   Chinese-German New Year's Concert

featuring the Magic Clarinet Quartet, Prof. Li-Han Bic, Prof. Hsiu-Hua Su and other well-known Taiwanese musicians who have studied in Germany.

Begin:  7.30 pm at Zhongshan Hall (Guangfu Hall). Free entry

    14.01.2006:   Lecture + Movie presentation with Panel discussion

Dr. Stefan Rummel, director of the DAAD office in Taiwan, will give a lecture on "German Culture", after which we will show the German movie "Good-bye Lenin", starring the popular German actor Daniel Brühl.  The movie deals with the everyday life of an (east-) German family from Berlin before and after the reunification of the GDR and the FRG.

Begin: Lecture  3pm - 5pm, / Movie 7.30pm at Zhongshan Hall, Baolei Cafe. Tickets: Speech 200,-NT / Movie  200,-NT  

     24.12.2005 - 15.01.2006: Photo Exhibition "A time, that was"

	With his photographs the German photographer Ignaz Böckenhoff manages to show scenes from day-to-day life the Germany of the 1930s and 40s as well as the time after WWII and documents the changes which were taking place in the country at that time.
The exhibition can be seen in the Baolei Cafe at Zhongshan Hall is open daily
from 11.00am - 10.00pm. Free entry.

Our Association, in cooperation with the Association for the Promotion of Arts and Culture and the Department for Cultural Affairs of the City Government of Taipei, would like to thank all participants, helpers and sponsors for the for supporting the organization of the German Cultural Month and especially for the assistance with the realization of the Christmas Market!!!
